Freshman Jackie Evans remained undefeated this season by winning the individual title in a personal best of 18:09 to help the Gunn girls' cross-country team defeat favored Mountain View, 30-36, in the SCVAL El Camino Division championships on Tuesday in Belmont. Gunn junior Allegra Mayer finished second in 18:35, freshman teammate Emma Dohner was sixth in 19:09, junior Joanne Reid was ninth in 19:34 and sophomore Lisa Fawcett was 12th in 19:44 to cap a strong run by the Titans. Palo Alto finished third with 77 points as senior Mia Lattanzi took seventh in 19:22.
