The USA Softball Women's National team will play for the championship of the KFC World Cup of Softball and has Stanford's Ashley Hansen, for one, to thank for it after she ripped a grand slam to spark the U.S. to an 8-1 decision over Australia on Sunday at the ASA Hall of Fame Complex in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Hansen broke the game open in the third with her grand slam to right field, making the first home run of her National Team experience a big one. Stanford's Allisa Haber was hit by a pitch witht the bases loaded in the third to bring in a run and later hit a solo homer to end Team USA's scoring.
