Stanford grad Matt Fuerbringer and partner Casey Jennings (who is married to Stanford grad Kerri Walsh) won their second straight match at the FIVB World Championships in Stavanger, Norway on Monday.
The 17th-seeded Americans (2-0) beat Austria’s 41st-ranked Alexander Huber and Peter Gartmayer, 25-9, 25-12 in Pool H play.
Jennings and Fuerbringer go for the sweep on Wednesday against eighth-seeded Reinder Nummerdor and Richard Schuil of Netherlands.
