Hathaway Moore scored the winning goal with 1:49 left to play to carry the Stanford White women's water polo team to an 8-7 victory over San Jose Splash in the final game of the 20-under national qualifying tournament on Sunday at Palo Alto High. Despite the victory, Stanford finished third and will be an alternate for the national tourney that will be played in Stockton from July 21-23. The Stanford Red won the tourney with a 3-0 record and will advance to the nationals.
