Joey August hit a home run and freshman Jordan Pries pitched another gem as the Stanford baseball team beat host Oregon, 3-1, Saturday in a Pac-10 contest.
Pries gave up a run on five hits over 7 2-3 innings in winning his third consecutive decision.
Drew Storen recorded the final four outs for his second save.
Stanford (4-4, 10-12) and Oregon end their series Sunday with a 1 p.m. game.
