Rosey Neill was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 11th inning, driving in the only run of the game as the Stanford softball team downed visiting Washington, 1-0, in a Pac-10 game Saturday.
The Huskies stranded four runners on third base during the contest, while Sarah Hassman, who singled to open the 11th, was the lone Cardinal to reach third.
Missy Penna earned her 20th victory with a six-hitter. She struck out 13.
The same two teams play again at noon Sunday.
