Varsity Boys Tennis
Menlo-Atherton 6, Mills 1
Date of competition: Thursday, March 26, 2009
The Menlo-Atherton boys’ tennis team has to be a little happy that Menlo School has moved out of the PAL Bay Division and into the new West Bay Athletic League. The Bears, who dropped a 7-0 nonleague match to the Knights on Wednesday, returned to PAL action on Thursday and easily defeated Mills, 6-1. The victory leaves Menlo-Atherton undefeated in league play at 6-0 (8-3 overall) and still tied with Burlingame for first place. The teams will meet in their next match to decide sole possession of the league lead.
