Recap: Former Stanford star Christen Press continued her points streak, scoring the first goal and assisting on the second, as the United States completed a sweep of the 2021 WNT Summer Series, presented by AT&T 5G in the first-ever competition at Q2 Stadium. Press moved into sole possession of ninth place on the all-time U.S. national team scoring list with 61 career goals. She has 14 goals and 21 assists over her past 35 games. Other U.S. starters included Sacred Heart Prep alum Abby Dahlkemper and former Stanford star Kelley O’Hara. Former Sacred Heart Prep and Stanford great Tierna Davidson also saw action Wednesday.
