The second-ranked Stanford women's water polo team scored three goals in the first two minutes en route to an 11-2 victory over Indiana in the first game of the Stanford Invitational on Saturday.

The Cardinal (3-0) meet top-ranked USC later in the day.

"I thought we competed well after the opening minutes of the game against a very talented team," Indiana coach Barry King said. "We definitely have to do a better job of handling counter attacks."
