The U.S. opened the FINA World Championships with a 22-3 victory over New Zealand on Saturday.
Stanford junior Aria Fischer scored three goals, Cardinal senior Makenzie Fischer and former Stanford All-American Kiley Neushul each scored twice. Cardinal grad Maggie Steffens also scored.
