PALL Landsmith 5070 staves off elimination in Redwood City's 5070 City Championship Tournament.

Burton Liu made the game saving catch near the outfield fence to get the 3rd out with 2 opposing runners on base in the bottom of the 7th.

PALL Landsmith 5070 nabbed the lead late in the game in a 6-5 victory over Edgewood WashnDry on Saturday.

PALL Landsmith 5070 trailed 5-4 in the top of the seventh inning when Finlee Montes doubled to the fence on a 1-2 count, scoring Ryan Chiou and Jonathan Yang, thundering around from first.

Edgewood WashnDry captured the lead in the second inning. Edgewood WashnDry scored two runs when Themi Drolapas singled.

In the top of the third inning, PALL Landsmith 5070 tied things up at three. Finlee singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Pablo Schettino got the start for PALL Landsmith 5070. He went three innings, allowing five runs on five hits, striking out five and walking one. Ryan Chiou closed out the nail-biter allowing only one run over four innings. Oscar Anderson added to the outfield heroics with his own near the fence catch.

PALL Landsmith 5070 racked up ten hits in the game. Finlee and Oscar each managed multiple hits. Bennett Quo and Jonathan Yang also boomed out doubles adding the team total of 4 2-baggers.

Carter May toed the rubber for Edgewood WashnDry. He allowed five hits and three runs over four innings, striking out four.
