The Gunn Varsity baseball team won a non-league game against San Mateo High. Senior Will Turner got the nod on the mound and delivered 4 1/3 solid innings yielding 1 earned run on 5 hits, 3 walks, and 2 K's. Ben Goldgof relieved Turner pitching 1 2/3 innings letting up a single run on 2 hits. Ori Spector pitched the final two outs. Down 1-0 entering the 7th inning, the Titans erupted for 8 runs in the top of the 7th. The offense was led by Kylen Liu who was 4 for 4 with 3 rbis, 1 run, and a triple. Jack Dellenbach was 2 for 3 with a run, an rbi, and a stolen base. Mike Panitchpakdi also had 2 hits, an rbi, a run, and a sb. The Titans resume league play on Tuesday against Lynbrook at Lynbrook.
