Stanford sophomore goalkeeper Trudie Grattan was named the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week on Monday, as announced by the conference office.

Grattan went 2-0 with an impressive .611 save percentage in Stanford's back-to-back wins over Fresno State and UC Davis.

In both games, she had more saves than goals allowed. On Thursday, Grattan made six saves and allowed just three goals (.667 save percentage) in 30 minutes against the Bulldogs, and then saved five of the nine shots (.556) she faced on Sunday against the Aggies.

For the week, she made 11 saves and allowed just seven goals on 18 shots (.611).

This is Grattan's first career weekly honor from the Pac-12. She ranks second in the conference in goals against average (8.0/game) and fifth in save percentage (.455).

Grattan and the Cardinal get set to travel East to play Albany on Friday and Stony Brook on Sunday.
