The Menlo girls' soccer team moved into a two-way tie for second place in the West Bay Athletic League (Foothill Division) with a 3-0 victory at King's Academy on Thursday. The Knights (2-1-1, 6-3-3) got the eventual game-winning goal in the first half when senior Madi Shove scored off an assist from Nicole Fasola. Senior Katie Howard made it 2-0 at halftime off an assist from Shove. Shove completed her near hat trick with an unassisted goal in the second half. The Knights will host Castilleja on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
