The Sacred Heart Prep boys' soccer team strengthened its hold on first place in the West Bay Athletic League with a 4-0 triumph over host Crystal Springs on Tuesday.
The Gators (4-1, 5-6) scored the winning goal at 16:33 of the first half when Mikey Cattermole took a pass from Andrew Liotta and knocked it home. Christian Valdez made it 2-0 at the 33:16 mark in the second half and Miles DeLong took a pass from Jeff Wagstaffe and scored with 12:33 remaining for a 3-0 lead. DeLong finished the second with just over six minutes left off an assist from Kyle Scherba.
