The Gunn girls' soccer team took on a tough Mitty squad on Monday and dropped a 5-2 decision in the team's final preseason match on the Titans' field. Gunn got on the scoreboard in the 68th minute off a successful penalty kick by Megan Clendenin. Gunn added another goal in the 72nd minute off an individual effort by Nikki Bahlman, who dribbled past her marking defender and the goalkeeper for the finish. Gunn (2-5-1) will open its SCVAL El Camino Division season on Wednesday at Milpitas at 3:30 p.m.
