Aragon became the third team in consecutive weeks to handily defeat Menlo, defeating the Knights 34-7 on Friday night. Aragon dominated the game on the ground with the rushing attack of Matu'u Pulotu, Sifa Tonga, and Isaiah Harris. On defense, Aragon limited Menlo to just over 100 yards rushing and held quarterback Danny Diekroeger to just 154 yards passing.
The biggest play of the game came in the first half with Menlo trailing just 7-0. Menlo was inside Aragon's five-yard line, threatening to score when David Miracchi was stripped of the ball and Aragon was able to recover the fumble. From that point on, it was all Aragon, which scored 34 unanswered points before Menlo got on the board with 35-yard touchdown pass from Diekroeger to Chris Ryan. With the loss, Menlo fell to 6-3 overall and 2-3 in the Peninsula Athletic League Bay Division.
