Cynthia Barboza has been nothing sort of terrific lately, providing an encore performance to the effort that led her to be named last week’s Player of the Week. Barboza followed an impressive feat against Washington with another against Washington State on Sunday. She recorded 13 kills and accumulated a .414 hitting percentage as the Stanford women’s volleyball team took over sole possession of first place in the Pac-10 for the first time this season. The fifth-ranked Cardinal are at Arizona on Friday for a 7 p.m. first serve.
