The first time the Menlo Oaks and Biola Eagles met in 2016, the end result was a 1-1 tie after two overtimes in La Mirada. This time, the two women’s soccer teams clashed again at Wunderlich Field hoping for a different result. The Eagles unbeaten season was on the line, with their lone tie coming in the game against Menlo. The Oaks were attempting to keep their Golden State Athletic Conference playoff hopes afloat coming off their win against The Master’s on Saturday. The rain came down on Thursday and made the playing surface slick, and neither side could find an advantage over the other en route to a scoreless draw after two overtimes. The Eagles are now 13-0-2 and 7-0-2 in conference while the Oaks are 8-5-3 and 3-4-2 in conference play.
