The Palo Alto Heat 10U softball team defeated the Cabrillo Crushers 6-0 last Sunday to win the Silver Championship in the "Blast by the Bay" softball tournament in Soquel, California. Paced by their pitcher Naomi's 13 strikeouts, Naomi impressively only gave up 1 hit over 5 innings. Palo Alto's shortstop DonnaBella was a perfect 2 for 2 from the plate and knocked in 2 of the Heat's 6 runs. The Palo Alto Heat is the Palo Alto Girls Softball (PAGS) summer travel team.
