Notes: Two consecutive successful challenges at the end of the fourth set gave the Americans the chance to win it all. Matt Anderson scored 23 points and Taylor Sander added 14 for the U.S. while Stanford grad Erik Shoji played the entire game at libero. Cardinal grad Kawika Shoji was used off the bench in the fourth set. The Americans out-blocked Iran, 14-9, to improve to 2-0 on the weekend.
