Mary Hall hit a home run and Brooke Shigematsu collected a pair of hits but the host Menlo College softball team dropped a 2-1 decision to San Diego Christian on Saturday in the semifinals of the Golden State Athletic Conference tournament.
The Oaks finished the season with a 30-20 mark, tying the school record for wins in a season.
San Diego Christian eventually lost, 7-6, to Arizona Christian in the championship game.
Menlo starter Jordan Kennedy gave her team a chance, allowing the two runs on six hits with no walks or strikeouts in four innings. Kelly Hager worked the final two innings, giving up a hit and striking out one.
