The Menlo-Atherton girls' tennis team completed a perfect season in the PAL Bay Division following a 5-2 triumph at San Mateo on Tuesday. The Bears finished the regular season at 14-0 in league (15-1 overall).
Junior Marietta Tuionetoa led the way at No. 1 singles with a 6-0, 6-2 win while sophomore Paige Keating followed at No. 2 with a 6-2, 6-2 victory. The Bears also swept the doubles behind the tandems of Jordyn Fantuzzi-Julia Sommer, Lizzy Peck-Casey Burnett and Taylor Wentz-Claire Uschersohn. M-A earns an automatic berth into the Central Coast Section playoffs with the division title, the Bears' first Bay Division crown since 2000.
