The Sacred Heart Prep girls remained tied for first place in the West Bay Athletic League (Foothill Division) soccer race after posting a 3-0 victory over visiting Notre Dame-San Jose on Tuesday. The Gators, who improved to 7-0-2 and 11-5-2, got the winning goal in the eighth minute when a shot deflected off a Regents defender and into the cage for an own goal. Samantha Tinney tallied an unassisted goal in the 26th minute and Mia Shenk made it 3-0 in the 38th minute with Carey Bradley assisting.
