The Palo Alto Oaks suffered their first baseball loss of the season, an 11-4 setback to the Fairfield Indians at Baylands Athletic Center on Sunday.

Notes from the game: Final score was 5-4. Oaks starter Kyle Hatzenbuhler recovered very nicely from the 3 run 1st inning. Palo Alto would climb all the way way to tie the game at 4-4 in the 8th inning, but would fail to take the lead due to a costly base running blunder. With 2 outs in the top of the 9th the Indians would take the lead 5-4 on a bloop single which would prove to be the winning run. |
