Pan American Games , Godsode 3rd in 100 back

Former Stanford All-American Eugene Godsoe won a bronze medal in the men's 100-meter backstroke, clocking 53.96, at the Pan American Games on Friday in Toronto, Canada. After four days of pool competition, Team USA owns 25 medals – nine gold, seven silver and nine bronze. In other events, BJ Johnson of Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics was seventh in the mens 100 breast in 1:01.77.
