Trailing by 4-0 for most of the game, the host Palo Alto Oaks took advantage of some miscues by the San Mateo Rounders to tie the game at 4, before Jordan Esposo gave Palo Alto the lead for good with a two-run double off the top of the fence in left-center. After allowing a run in the ninth, Jacob Naval shut the door for the Oaks (2-0) in an 8-5 victory on Sunday at Baylands Athletic Center.
