Palo Alto saw its hopes for an undefeated dual-meet season disappear in a 69-58 loss to visiting Los Gatos in SCVAL De Anza Division boys’ track and field action Thursday. The Vikings (4-1) were outscored 9-0 in the 110 high hurdles and 300 intermediate hurdles plus 8-1 in the 1,600 and 3,200 races, while dominating just the 100 with a one-two finish by Eli Givens and Austin Cox. Givens did his best to keep Paly unbeaten by taking the 100, 200 and long jump in addition to running a leg on the winning 400 relay teams.
