Menlo-Atherton clinched its seventh straight PAL Bay Division boys' tennis title with a 7-0 victory over visiting Burlingame on Thursday. With two matches remaining against Woodside and San Mateo, the Bears (12-0, 16-2) have a chance to go undefeated in PAL play for the sixth time in those seven years. With the title, M-A receives an automatic bid into the Central Coast Section team tournament. Last year, M-A reached the CCS semifinals for the first time in 29 years, and hopes to reach at least that far again.
