In a CCS Div. III girls' soccer opener, Menlo School cruised past Summit Prep 7-0 - getting goals from five players - on Wednesday at Woodside High. No. 6 seed Menlo (11-4-4) will face No. 3 Harbor (10-5-3) on Saturday at a time and site to be announced. The Knights scored four goals in the first 12 minutes of Wednesday's game. Senior Leah Swig connected from 12 yards out off an assist from Zoe Enright. Next Alexandra Walker scored from 15 yards out off a pass from Swig. Enright tallied next from 15 yards out. Swig finished an Emily Demmon cross from 12 yards out. In the second half, the Menlo goals were scored by Demmon and the final two goals by Cleo King with assists by Walker, Alice Shaw, and Demmon.
