Behind Leah Swig’s four goals, the Menlo girls’ soccer team closed the regular season with a 6-1 road victory over Woodside Priory on Thursday. The Knights finish the season 7-2-1 in West Bay Athletic League with 22 points. They’ll await their CCS seeding announced next weekend. Emily Demmon added a goal and two assists and Cleo King added anothr goal. Alexandra Walker, Julia Wang and Lizzie Lacy contributed assists. Menlo scored the first two goals of the game with goals by Swig and Demmon, then made it a 3-1 halftime lead after another Swig goal. In the first 10 minutes of the second half, Swig scored twice then came out of the game. King netted the the final goal. Menlo School 3 3 - 6 Woodside Priory 1 0 - 1
