In the 36th minute Paly switched the ball in the attacking half to Jacey Pederson who got behind the defense and drove along the end line. Jacey's hard low cross was deflected by the diving keeper, however Natalie Maloney adjusted her run and calmly deposited the deflected ball into the open goal for a 1-0 Paly lead. In the 44th minute, Nika Woodfill got past a Saratoga defender and passed the ball sharply to Talia Malchin at the top of the box, whose one time strike was then deflected into the goal by Katie Foug, doubling Paly's advantage. In the next 15 minutes Paly scored 3 more times. Emily Tomz got the third goal after Nika Woodfill found her with a cross and Emily calmly chipped the ball into the net. Next Ansley Queen latched onto a pass and split 2 defenders to run at the goal. The keeper dove and deflected her shot, then Emily Tomz beat the Saratoga defender to the ball and slipped the ball into the goal for a 4-0 Paly lead. Paly's final tally was from Ansley Queen placing another deflected shot solidly into the goal.
