The Menlo School girls dropped a 3-1 decision to St. Francis in the annual Burlingame Girls High School Soccer Tournament on Friday at Burlingame High.
The Lancers jumped in front 10 minutes into the match when Meghan Schroeder scored from 12 yards out off the first of 3 assists by DB Pridham. Menlo equalized in the 25th minute off a 25 yard shot from junior forward Zoe Enright. St. Francis 2nd goal came off a beautiful 22-yard shot from Georgia Kingman off a Pridham assist 10 minutes in. Bailey Blake got the final goal from 16 yards out off another Pridham assist at 20 minutes. Menlo was led by the play of Enright, keeper Schuyler Tilney-Volk (14 saves), and midfielders Jamie Corley and Julia Wang.
