The Palo Alto girls' tennis team remained unbeaten after two nonleague matches following a 5-2 victory over visiting St. Francis on Tuesday. The Vikings took advantage of the absence of Lancers' No. 1 singles player Kelly Chui (ranked No. 1 in Northern California in Girls' 18s) and swept the singles matches. Janet Liu (6-1, 6-0), Emma Marti (6-1, 6-1) and Mira Khanna (6-3, 6-0) won in straight sets while Vrinda Khanna was extended in a 4-6, 7-6 (8-6), 10-3 win at No. 3 singles. Juniors Sophie Biffar and Gracie Dulik clinched the victory with a 6-2, 6-1 triumph at No. 1 doubles.
