The Menlo-Atherton girls wrapped up the PAL Bay Division championship with a 6-1 tennis victory over second-place Carlmont on Thursday. The Bears (13-0, 15-6) earned an automatic berth into the Central Coast Section playoffs by knocking off the Scots, who needed a victory to force M-A to win the title next week. That wasn't necessary as the Bears jumped on the visitors for the second time this season, sweeping the singles to get things rolling. M-A can wrap up a perfect league season with a win over Woodside on Tuesday.
