Italy scored with 22 seconds remaining to tie the game. Stanford grad Alison Gregorka gave the U.S. women's water polo team a 9-7 edge with a goal at 3:25 of the fourth period. Cardinal grad Brenda Villa added two goals and Stanford junior Jessica Steffens also scored.
