Cuba downed Team USA, 25-13, 25-16, 25-18, on the second day of the preliminary round of the NORCECA men’s U21 Continental Championship on Wednesday in El Salvador.

Stanford sophomore middle blocker subbed into the second set and started the third set for the Americans, who are 1-1 in the tournament.

They meet Mexico on Thursday, the final day for prelims.
