It took an extra championship game, but Missy Penna didn't mind the extra work, pitching the Stanford softball team into a Super Regional by pitching a no-hitter in the Cardinal's 6-0 win over Massachusetts on Sunday. The Minutewomen beat Stanford (49-13) 2-1 to force the extra game. The Cardinal travels to Texas A&M next weekend for the Super Regional. The Aggies also won the title with a no-hitter, 6-0, over Louisiana Tech. Megan Gibson threw the no-no for Texas A&M.
