The Stanford baseball team could not overcome an early deficit and fell to host Arizona, 9-6, in a Pac-10 contest on Saturday night. Stanford was led by junior Cord Phelps who went 2-5 with two RBI in the contest, including his ninth home run of the season. Junior Jason Castro went 2-5. The same two teams meet again in Tucson on Sunday night at 6 p.m.
