On Saturday, the girls varsity soccer team played Kings Academy in the CCS quarter finals. The Panthers were lead by junior, defender turned goalkeeper, Megan Perna who had countless key saves throughout the contest. The only goal was scored by freshman Alicia Talancon in the 39th minute. Freshman Brenda Uribe assisted the goal fighting off 3 defenders and maintaining possession before passing the ball to Talancon whose cross/ shot found the back of the net and proved to be the difference. The Priory plays Menlo in the CCS semi finals Wednesday night at Milpitas High School at 7pm.
