Freshman goalie Amber Oland recorded 11 saves and did not allow a goal in her time in the net as the Stanford women's water polo team beat Marist, 12-1, in the opening round of the NCAA championships at Stanford. The Cardinal (26-4) meets the winner of a later game between USC and Michigan in Saturday's semifinals at 5:45 p.m.
