Sean Ratliff had two hits and drove in three runs, hitting a home run for the third consecutive game (four total), but it wasn't enough as host USF downed Stanford, 13-9, in a nonconference baseball game on Tuesday. The Dons scored seven runs in an inning to take control. Palo Alto grad David Stringer took the loss, his first of the year. Stanford (28-16) hosts California on Friday at 6 p.m. in a Pac-10 game.
