The Stanford baseball team scored 16 runs in the final two innings to overcome as five-run deficit en route to a 17-6 victory over host San Jose State on Sunday in a nonconference game. Sean Ratliff hit two home runs, including a grand slam to tie the game at 6-6 in the eighth. Joey August singled home the go-ahead run in the ninth as the Cardinal scored 11 runs on 13 hits in the top of the ninth. Stanford (27-15) travels to San Francisco on Wednesday.
