In a battle between two of the top three teams in the West Bay Athletic League (Foothill Division) girls' soccer race last year, host Sacred Heart Prep remained tied for first place with a solid 4-0 triumph over Priory on Tuesday. Sophomore Tierna Davidson provided the winning goal in the fourth minute off an assist from sophomore Riley Shanahan. Davidson also got the closing goal in the 65th minute with freshman McKenna Angotti assisting. Seniors Kate Bechtel and Alex Bourdillion added goals in the 17th and 25th minute, Shanahan assisting on Bechtel's goal as the Gators moved to 2-0-1 in league (7-1-2 overall).
