The Stanford baseball team gave up four runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to lose its third consecutive game, 10-8, to host UC Davis in a nonconference game on Wednesday. Stanford (25-15) has allowed 10 runs in each of its past three games. Jake Schlander had two hits and drive in three runs for the Cardinal, while Colin Walsh added three hits. Stanford hosts San Jose State on Saturday at 1 p.m. in a nonconference tilt.
