The Knights (1-0-1) jumped in front on junior Leah Swig's well-placed 16-yard shot into the corner of the goal on an assist from senior Amanda McFarland in the 14th minute. Sequoia equalized at the close of the half on Sarah Huber's goal off a corner kick. Menlo dominated the second-half by scoring three goals and not allowing Sequoia a single shot on goal.
