Palo Alto saw its title defense in the SCVAL De Anza Division football race all but disappear in a 31-28 loss to visiting Milpitas on Friday night in Paly's homecoming game. The Vikings dropped to 2-2 in the division and 3-4 overall while the Trojans remained atop the division at 4-0 (6-1).
