Despite holding a 25-22 halftime lead, Menlo School came up empty offensively and defensively in the second half and dropped a 44-25 decision to visiting Terra Nova to ruin homecoming day. The Knights (1-1, 5-2) fell out of tie for first place in the PAL Bay Division after having their five-game win streak snapped while the Tigers moved to 3-0 (7-0 overall). Menlo QB Jack Heneghan threw for 492 yards, a school record -- breaking the mark of 470 held by Danny Diekroeger in 2009.
