The Stanford baseball team dropped the finale of its Pac-10 series with host UCLA on Sunday, 8-2. The Cardinal (8-4, 21-12) are assured at least a share of first place following the weekend action. Toby Gerhart and Jason Castro each had two hits for Stanford, while David Sandbrink pitched five strong innings in relief of starter Jeffrey Inman. Inman allowed six runs in 2 1-3 innings. Stanford travels to Santa Clara for a Monday night nonconference game at 6 p.m.
