Missy Penna threw a four-hitter with 10 strikeouts and the Stanford softball team beat visiting California, 5-1, on Saturday in a Pac-10 game. Rosey Neill had two hits and drove in two runs for the Cardinal (6-5, 40-7), which travels to Berkeley for an afternoon game with the Bears on Sunday. Alissa Haber added two hits, including a double, and scored twice.
